Most kitchens and restaurants will have a cupboard stocked with vinegar. Vinegar can be used as a stain remover when in a pinch. Mix one teaspoon of white vinegar into a few cups of water and spray or pour the liquid over the stain. Next, gently blot the item of clothing and you should see the coffee stain lifting.
You can also try to use baking soda to remove your coffee. Do so by wetting the coffee-stained garment with warm water. Pour about a teaspoon of baking soda on the stain and rub it into the fabric. Allow the baking soda to settle for as long as possible before rinsing it off.
Then put the fabric into the washing machine, adding your usual detergent and one cap of ACE for Colours directly into the drum on top of the laundry for a really clean result.
Alternatively, soak your fabric with 10 litres of water, one dosing cap of ACE for Colours and your usual detergent. Leave it up to one hour and then rinse thoroughly.
Always remember to read the label on the item of clothing first.
